Below you will find images from Chris Guarino's Masquerade series. The Masquerade was started at a project illustrating the juxtaposition of the bizarre masks Chris created with the beauty of the human form. It has since bloomed into the ground work for an extensive fantasy novel that weaves a narrative around nearly every creation in the artist's portfolio. The preliminary text will be completed some time this year (2025) and will be exploring publishing options during the editing phase.
